Digestive Health

Do you feel bloated or uncomfortable after meals? Do you have chronic constipation or diarrhea? Do you have fear or anxiety around eating certain foods? Do you find yourself searching online for IBS diets? Do you feel like your gut symptoms are controlling your life? Have you tried low FODMAP or elimination diets without lasting success? You deserve to feel confident and comfortable in your body — without endless food rules.

Our Approach

We believe in a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to digestive health. As mental health and nutrition experts, we understand that the unrelenting pressures of modern life can have a serious impact on your gut and your digestion. We can support you in both aspects.

Treatment

We provide compassionate, evidence-based support for people experiencing:

  • Bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea

  • IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)

  • Ulcerative colitis

  • Crohn’s disease

  • SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth)

  • Food intolerances & sensitivities

  • Stress-related gut symptoms

Using intuitive eating and gentle nutrition strategies, we focus on:

  • Nourishing your body without rigid rules

  • Reducing food fears and stress around eating

  • Improving digestive comfort through mindful eating habits

  • Supporting gut health with practical, sustainable changes

  • Help you discover the ways that stresses from your life might be impacting your gut health

This approach allows you to feel better and eat with confidence — without the harmful side effects of chronic dieting.

Gut health is complex. Quick fixes and rigid meal plans often don’t address the underlying causes of digestive issues — and can lead to unnecessary food restrictions, nutrient deficiencies, and increased stress.

FAQs

  • In general, particularly with IBS, our tolerance to foods will change over time based on a variety of circumstances like sleep, stress, etc. When you are at a low point, you might find that avoiding certain foods might help you feel better. At other times, you might be able to tolerate them better.

  • Changing your diet is really hard. Restricting certain foods, even when you have a good medical reason for it, can make us focus on it more and want that forbidden food even more than ever. This is so common. Don’t feel bad. We have to be gentle and methodical when trying to change our diet. We can work with you to find alternatives and find joy in new areas of eating.
